Embrace Life Regained

Embrace Life Regained

On The National Memorial Day of China

I was born and raised in Wuhan, China. It is a beautiful city I have endless memories of, and a place where many people I care and love live.

Today is a traditional Chinese holiday, also a newly established national Memorial Day to pay our respect for lives perished in this fight against coronavirus. The video below shows a glimpse of Wuhan 10AM this morning, on April 4th 2020.

In the past 70+ days many of my friends and families have been working industriously to maintain the city's daily operations. Till this day, many of my friends and families have not left their house. And I, have not felt being away from them for a single second.

Corona is about 120 nanometers in diameter (1 nanometer = 10-9 meters). It has cost lives, changed our lifestyle, and caused wide ranges of emotions many of us have ever experienced. However, at the end of the day I don't feel afraid of this tiny particle and hope you won't let it take the best of you, too, because the fight is not yet over and our best effort is still to be made.

I commit to practicing and advocating physical, mental, and emotional health, and caring for my families and friends the best way I am able to. How would you like to make your best effort for the days to come?

With Care,
